About Emily Shouse
Emily M. Shouse is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Connecticut and serving the areas of Hartford County, Windham County, and beyond. She began her studies at the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and continued on to graduate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with honors and a concentration in criminal law and advocacy.
Attorney Shouse’s practice covers a broad range of criminal matters, including DUI, drug offenses, assault, domestic violence, white collar crime, firearms, and much more. She has successfully defended hundreds of clients, from first-time offenders, to those facing serious, complex felony charges.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, who has lived in Fairfield County, New Haven County, Litchfield County, Tolland County, Hartford County, and Windham County, Attorney Shouse has extensive knowledge of Connecticut, and the courts, judges, and prosecutors throughout the state. She is admitted to practice in all Connecticut state courts.
